UK Moth populations are declining making it crucial for us to conserve them, not only for the sake of moths, but for all of the other organisims within their ecosystems. Moths, as well as being fascinating creatures alone, also provide rich food sources for birds, bats and small mammals. This means any declines in moth numbers will also have knock on effects further up the food chain.
